After the lockdown was partially lifted and shooting of TV shows was allowed by Government of Maharashtra, Hats off production banner started shoot of their popular show Bhakharwadi on June 25. They followed all the guidelines of the Govt. of Maharashtra. It was all normal from June 25, when the shoot started and on July 11, a tailor complained of weakness and was treated by the doctor. He requested for a leave on July 13, which was granted immediately and he went to his residence. He wanted to join back but the team requested him to get tested before joining.

The tailor got himself tested for COVID-19 on July 19, 2020. But unfortunately he passed away on July 21 at his residence.  After his death, the production banner discovered that he was COVID-19 positive. Taking note of that, the crew tested his closed contacts and when found one of them positive, they organised RT PCR test (swab test) for everyone on the set and in this test, and few more were found positive. All of them are being treated and will join only after they test negative.

As per the guidelines, they have stopped shooting the show for 3 days that ended today. However, they are not shooting even tomorrow which is a 4th day. Those who tested positive and their close contacts are isolated and are being treated.

While the production banner prays for their well being and will take care of them as they are all like a family members of Hats off Family.
